Friday is deadline to join 20 years of CSUnity

Friday is the last day to register for one of the University’s signature community service events in the spring, CSUnity.

Members of the Beta Gamma Nu fraternity volunteer to help remove old fencing and build new new trails at Horsetooth Reservoir as part of CSUnity.

Every spring, CSU students come together for a one-day service event that supports the Fort Collins community. These services include planting trees, outdoor spring clean-up and landscaping projects. The services are provided to long-term residents in the community, agencies and local nonprofits.

About 2,500 students from over 130 different organizations throughout campus will fan out around Fort Collins to complete service projects on Saturday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The students will partake in outdoor volunteer projects for long-term Fort Collins residents who greatly appreciate the service.

This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the CSUnity event. To be part of the history, you can register here [1]by March 10.

CSUnity is a program that creates a space where campus and community can come together and make connections and relationships.

“Students get the chance  to engage with neighbors and nonprofits throughout the Fort Collins community,” said Jenn Rieskamp, the program coordinator. “CSUnity is a great way for students to learn more about the individuals who call Fort Collins home year-round.”
