Fort Collins is known for its bikes, beers and bands. Now, local music supporters are bringing #focomusic to Austin.

CSU and Bohemian Foundation have teamed up with local arts supporters including the Downtown Business Association, Visit Fort Collins, and KRFC to host a full-day showcase featuring Fort Collins and Northern Colorado bands in Austin this week as part of the Colorado Music Party, an event happening alongside the South By Southwest music festival.

“We’re thrilled to be part of supporting this event and with helping to build and grow the amazing music scene here in Fort Collins. Being part of the arts community here is such a great thing for our faculty, staff and particularly our students. Anything we can do to support this vibrant scene, we’re committed to it,” said Tom Milligan, vice president for CSU External Relations.

Local designers developed a limited-edition series of gig posters illustrating life in Fort Collins. Want one of these posters? Help support the bands traveling to Austin by visiting the Community Funded website.
