With son’s autism diagnosis, online HDFS student makes degree personal

Bethany Perez, a graduate of Colorado State University’s online Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) bachelor’s program, knew her college experience would be different from others’. As the wife of a military member, she moved frequently—three different times over the course of her degree program.  As a mother, she had to balance her study time with her children’s needs. Then her son was diagnosed with autism, and everything changed.
