Wild and Scenic Film Festival comes to campus Friday

The Warner College of Natural Resources presents the Wild and Scenic Film Festival, an event supporting the Larimer County Conservation Corps, at CSU’s Lory Student Center Theatre Friday, Sept. 16, at 6 p.m.

The Wild and Scenic Film Festival is one of the nation’s largest environmental film festivals. This year, 10 different films will be featured, with stories ranging from adventure to activism and conservation.

The Fort Collins showing will be the last chance to see the festival in Colorado this year.

Proceeds from the event support the Larimer County Conservation Corps, an organization that supports outdoor jobs for local youth and household sustainability. Tickets are $16 for general admission and $13 for CSU students. Admission includes entrance to the festival, appetizers and beverages.

For more information and to purchase tickets for the Fort Collins showing, visit the Larimer County Workforce Center’s site.
