Volunteers needed for CSU’s Restorative Justice Program

CSU’s Restorative Justice Program is looking for volunteers, and the Student Resolution Center is hosting a training on Aug. 14 for faculty and staff who would like to be community members in restorative justice conferences.

Restorative justice flyerRestorative justice addresses incidents of harm by fostering dialogue to increase understanding, connection and healing among those affected by the incident: victims, the person who caused the harm, indirectly impacted parties, law enforcement and community members.

Your role as a community member is to be yourself and share how a particular student’s actions affect you and the CSU and Fort Collins communities. Community members’ perspectives are important to students’ understanding of their responsibilities as members of the Ramily.

Date: Aug. 14
Time: 1-5 p.m.
Location: Student Resolution Center
Light refreshments will be provided

Those interested in signing up for the training can register by submitting an application online at:

Applications are due Aug. 7.
