With CSU Ag Day less than a month away, the call for volunteers is going out.
Ag Day is a giant tailgate barbecue featuring many Colorado agricultural commodities such as beef, lamb, pork, potatoes, and dairy. The 35th Annual Ag Day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 17, immediately before CSU’s football game against the University of Northern Colorado.
For more information on Ag Day, please visit the website.
Ag Day 2016 hat, complimentary BBQ ticket, and parking pass
All volunteers will receive an Ag Day 2016 hat, a complimentary BBQ ticket, and a parking pass. Volunteers can choose from a number of different assignments that will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. These assignments include, but are not limited to: working with commodity groups to serve food, helping with beverage distribution (soft drinks and water), and handing out plates/silverware.
Volunteers are asked to work from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be given a lunch break so that they can also take part in the Ag Day festivities. For questions on volunteering, please contact the College of Agricultural Sciences Dean’s Office at cas_agday@mail.colostate.edu or by calling 491-6274.
Register to volunteer by Sept. 2
