‘Collegian’ wins top honors at regional journalism conference

The Rocky Mountain Collegian and Collegian.com both received top honors at the Society of Professional Journalists Region 9 Conference last month in Salt Lake City.
The Collegian is the oldest continuously published college paper in Colorado and one of the oldest in the West.
Earlier this month, as part of the annual CSU Media Festival, a group of Rocky Mountain Collegian editors from decades past gathered for a panel discussion on how the media has changed and the Collegian has grown over the years.
Jim Rodenbush, adviser for the Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation at CSU, has received the Honor Roll Newspaper Adviser Award for four-year colleges and universities from the College Media Association.
