Volunteers provided more than 2,600 backpacks full of school supplies to K-12 students in need this year.
Colorado State University’s signature program that provides K-12 students in need in the Poudre School District with the tools for success kicks into high gear the first full week in August, and there are plenty of ways for CSU employees to be part of the effort.
Last year, the program provided more than 2,800 backpacks full of donated classroom supplies to the school district, for a total of more than 50,000 over the years.
This year, School is Cool provided 300 CSU students as well as 2,800 K-12 students with school supplies.
