Beginning Thursday, March 3, and consistent with President McConnell’s message of Feb. 10, Colorado State University will no longer require masks to be worn in indoor areas on our Larimer County campuses.
Effective immediately, Colorado State University will follow the Centers for Disease Control guidelines for high-transmission areas on all our campuses in Larimer County. This means that we will continue to require masks in all indoor areas until the Larimer County transmission levels fall below “substantial” as set forth by the CDC.
The CSU Pandemic Preparedness Team recently hosted an information session regarding updated plans and public health guidance for Spring 2022.
As Colorado State University prepares for an in-person Spring 2022 semester, the CSU Pandemic Preparedness Team will host a Community COVID Information Session from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Jan. 12.

The Pandemic Preparedness Team and CSU’s Public Health Office have been preparing for and expecting this rise of cases as we head into the winter months. However, everyone still needs to do their part to keep incidences of COVID low.
The CSU Pandemic Preparedness Team will host a Town Hall on Aug. 18 from 9-10 a.m. to discuss the recently announced vaccination and mask mandates.
