About 1,500 members of the Colorado State University and Fort Collins community gathered to remember and recommit to the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Jan. 17 at the annual MLK Day march and celebration.
With keynote speaker Carlotta Lanier of the “Little Rock Nine” and a new march route, the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration on Jan. 17 promises to be better than ever.
This year's theme was Be the Catalyst, and volunteers participated in community service as well as the traditional march.
This year, the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance offers the community a chance to Be the Catalyst for change.
"Justice Now" is the theme of this year's community event in Old Town Square and the Lory Student Center.
