Senior Stanton Kidd named Athlete of the Week.
To celebrate an extraordinary football season, CSU is offering its faculty and staff an extraordinary offer: Free tickets for Saturday’s home finale.
It has been a magical season for the CSU volleyball team – but there’s still a lot of season remaining. The 9th-ranked Rams (26-2, 14-1 Mountain West) can clinch a share of their sixth consecutive league title if they beat San Jose State in a 7 p.m. Wednesday match at Moby Arena. The Rams come into that match off a weekend home sweep of Air Force and New Mexico. Following the match vs. San Jose State, the Rams have two remaining regular-season games – Saturday at Nevada and Nov. 26 at home vs. Border War rival Wyoming – before the NCAA Tournament. The Rams are expected to qualify for their 20th consecutive NCAA appearance and are strong candidates to host first- and second-round matches at Moby.
Colorado State junior running back Dee Hart rushed for 104 yards and a career-best four touchdowns in a 38-31 road victory over San José State last Saturday. For his performance, Hart was named the Warren Credit Union Colorado State Athlete of the Week.
Former CSU standout Kelly Stouffer returns to campus Saturday to provide color commentary for ESPNU during the Rams' game against Hawaii.
Colorado State senior quarterback Garrett Grayson earned several weekly honors after his career-best performance in the Rams’ 45-31 victory over Wyoming.
