Stadium: Best seats in the house going fast

If you want to sit in the best seats when CSU’s new on-campus stadium opens in 2017, you need to get off your seat and take action.

CSU has signed commitment forms for more than half of the premium seating in all four areas, which includes indoor and outdoor clubs, suites and loge boxes in the stadium.

“We are very appreciative of the commitment shown by our season ticketholders and donors to step forward in such a strong manner,” said Joe Parker, director of athletics. “People are very excited about this opportunity and the demand has been very encouraging. We are receiving commitments and purchases not only from alumni and friends in Northern Colorado and the Denver-metro area, but also from out-of-state alumni.”

The best part of this opportunity is that fans can immediately secure their seat locations for opening day. Fans won’t be able to choose non-premium seats at the stadium until Dec. 31.

Premium seating options are outlined on CSU’s official new stadium website at www.stadium.colostate.edu.

Premium seating provides exclusive access to hospitality areas and amenities currently unavailable at Hughes Stadium. The new stadium, with a capacity of 41,000, will house a new alumni center and extensive academic areas, making it a true multi-purpose facility that will significantly enhance campus life on all levels.

Stadium_350To date, 11 signed commitment forms have been received for suites, and a number of discussions are ongoing with individuals and companies interested in the 11 remaining suites. Loge box sales also have been strong, with 27 signed commitment forms received and approximately 100 loge seats remaining. Significant interest also exists for between 17 and 25 remaining loge boxes, a figure which can adjust depending on choices of either four- or six-person loge box options.

Tickets sales for non-premium seats will begin in the spring of 2017 with existing season ticketholders renewing their seats in priority order based on Ram Points as of Dec. 31.

If you aren’t interested in premium seating but still want to support the project, alumni and fans are encouraged to make donations directly to the stadium capital campaign by visiting the stadium website or calling the Ram Club at (970) 491-4666.  Donations associated with premium seating and the stadium capital campaign help to service bond payments on the new stadium, making the new venue a reality while positively impacting the future of CSU, its students, alumni and the community for decades to come.
