Second Leadership Book Club meeting scheduled

The second Leadership Book Club book has been selected, with a book club meeting scheduled for Monday, May 4. The Leadership Book Club is one of the several programs launched this year as a result of Ripple Effect grant awards.  More than 40 women from across CSU attended the first bookclub meeting, and the club remains open to new members.

What’s the book club all about?

The Leadership Book Club meets every 6 weeks to discuss the current book. Each book has a leadership theme or focus. The selcected book will be available at the CSU Bookstore, and a discount will be given to the first several women who purchase the book at the CSU Bookstore (the dollar amount and number of discounts will vary depending on the book cost). The meetings will include large and small group discussions with the hope that each participant can reflect on lessons and take-aways from each book.

Who can participate?

Any CSU staff or faculty member, including remotely located staff, who identifies as a woman can participate in the Leadership Book Club. This opportunity is also open to graduate students who identify as a woman and work on campus.

When: Second book selected; meeting scheduled for May 4

The second book the Leadership Book Club will be discussing is The Oz Principle: Getting Results Through Individual and Organizational Accountability by Roger Connors, Tom Smith, and Craig Hickman.
