Scenes from Opening Day at the CSU stadium

The first-ever Rams football game at the new Colorado State University stadium felt like a welcome-home party. For the first time in nearly 50 years, students, alumni, and Rams fans from far and wide could feel the excitement of an on-campus Game Day Experience – and not just on Game Day.

“It’s like a party all week, all over town,” said one fan, who rode his bike to the open house at the Iris & Michael Smith Alumni Center on Friday evening for a concert and a sneak-peek at the outstanding new facility. “CSU has really done this one right.”

Take a look at the fun that was had by all as the Rams tore asunder the Oregon State Beavers, 58-27, in the opening game of the college football season.
