Rams take winning volleyball tradition downtown on Friday, Aug. 17

Kids playing volleyball

On Friday, Aug. 17, the Colorado State volleyball team will be in Old Town Square for a “Kids Day” from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The clinic is free and open to kids in third grade and younger.

CSU volleyball players and coaches will lead the hour-long clinic in downtown Fort Collins, teaching kids basic volleyball skills, all while having fun.

“We really enjoy getting out into the community and interacting with Fort Collins,” said Coach Tom Hilbert. “The community is a huge part of what makes our program successful and unique, and our players love being a part of it.”

The Rams begin the season ranked No. 25 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason poll and will open their season hosting No. 12 Illinois on Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. in Moby Arena.

Season, single-match and mini-plan tickets are still available for the 2018 season. Visit csurams.com/tickets for more information.
