Researchers at Colorado State University are looking for girls ages 12-17 who have a family member with type 2 diabetes. Parents can have their daughters participate in a Colorado State University research study to see if improving stress and mood decreases girls’ chances of developing type 2 diabetes. The study involves one screening visit, a six-week group program, and three follow-up visits within a year. Eligible participants will be financially compensated for their time.
