Human Resources benefits open enrollment, an employee’s annual opportunity to make changes to their benefits plan for the next calendar year, is now through Friday, Nov. 28.
Faculty, administrative professionals and non-classified staff can participate in this open enrollment.
Employees must complete the open enrollment process if they are:
- changing their benefits enrollment options (plans, pre/post-tax status, coverage levels, beneficiaries, etc.)
- enrolling or continuing participation in a flexible spending account, health or dependent care in 2015
- adding or removing a spouse, domestic partner, civil union partner or children under the age of 26 on your insurance plans (a social security number of must be provided for all dependents)
- changing their defined contribution plan retirement company beginning with 2015 contributions
Employees enrolled in a defined contribution plan should review their vendor and fund selections to ensure they are consistent with financial goals. Open enrollment is the only time an employee can change their defined contribution plan vendor.
Open enrollment changes are made online.
