Move In 2019: Party like it’s 1870

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the founding of what we now call Colorado State University in 1870. Stalwart Rams always love of a good celebration, so we’re kicking off the party a little early.

President Joyce McConnell will be revealing more details about how CSU will mark its sesquicentennial – Latin for a century and a half – at her very first Fall Address on Sept. 19. (Spoiler alert: There might be some big doings around Founders Day in February.)

Until then, see what’s up at the Sesquicentennial website – csu150.colostate.edu – where you can watch videos with historic footage, compare images of what campus looked like then and now, even take a quiz to see how much you really know about CSU legends and lore.

You can also follow #CSU150 on all your favorite social media platforms – Team Social has some really amazing features planned throughout the 2019-20 academic year, with some surprises along the way as well.

Happy birthday, CSU! One hundred and fifty looks good on you.
