Go to class. Take care of yourself…and others. Learn to manage your time.

Those are just some of the pearls of wisdom passed along to new students by CSU upperclassmen. With move-in week in full swing, they shared some knowledge that helped them survive — and will probably help you, too.

Much of the advice dealt with academics and how to prioritize. “Study hard, play hard…but study harder,” was one gem. Another current student encouraged newcomers to “put yourself out there.”

Mostly, though, the words were simple: You made a great choice in CSU, now make the best of it.
