In memory: Jonna Marie Isaak

Jonna Marie Isaak, 42, of Fort Collins, died unexpectedly Sept. 17, at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 am Thursday, Sept. 28, at the South Auditorium of Timberline Church. Lunch will follow the celebration.

Jonna was born Oct. 1, 1974, in Fort Collins, to John and Jean Isaak. She grew up in the Windsor and Littleton areas of Colorado. Jonna completed high school in Pittsford, NY. She graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with emphasis in human resources. She went on to work in HR departments at companies located in Colorado, specializing in compensation administration, and most recently in the HR department at Colorado State University.

Jonna is a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, in fact, the very best aunt Jon Jon ever to Jacob and Cooper. Jonna was a kind, caring and loving soul. Jonna always loved to be around people. She also enjoyed reading, watching sports, and being with friends and family. Jonna had a distinct love of animals and had a special place in her heart for cats. She was a exceptional woman that touched many lives both in our homes and at work. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Jonna is survived by parents John and Jean Isaak of Loveland; siblings Richard Isaak of Washington, DC, and Kristine and Jason Cooley of Lithia, FL; nephews Jacob and Cooper Cooley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
