Last Call Romance hits the Lagoon Concert Series stage July 10

Last Call Romance

Last Call Romance will take the stage Wednesday, July 10, as part of the Lagoon Concert Series at Colorado State University.

The live music begins at 6 p.m. near the Lagoon with a Little Kids Rock performance by Bran Schneider.

Set to release a new album in 2019, Last Call Romance has been working hard to develop some new originals in its blend of rockabilly-swing style. They’ve traveled internationally, performing at radio shows, concert series and NewWest Fest.

In 2018, the band had the honor of playing the oldest rockabilly festival in the United Kingdom, the Hemsby Rock ’n’ Roll Weekender.

The band strives for an old-fashioned vibe that evokes a time when a catchy, energetic sound was heard on a car radio or at the dance hall.

KRFC broadcasts

For the first time, the Lagoon Summer Concert Series is not only being enjoyed by show attendees, but by radio listeners across northern Colorado and around the world. KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins is broadcasting each of the seven concerts the following week as part of its “Around Town” series, which airs Wednesdays at 7 p.m. The partnership is a reflection of the mission the two organizations share – enhancing community relationships and pride through the love of arts and entertainment.

“The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is a great example of the spirit and culture in our area,” said KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins Executive Director Jen Parker. “We are proud to support this popular summer tradition and share it with a much bigger audience.”
