The Lagoon Summer Concert Series comes to an end this week when The Wendy Woo Band takes the stage on Wednesday, Aug. 8.
The concert will take place on the west lawn of the Lory Student Center and run from 6 to 8:30 p.m
A celebrated northern Colorado artist, Wendy Woo lights up the stage with her energetic personality, musical skills and spirited songwriting. Her talent has earned her many honors, including Westword Music Awards’ “Singer/Songwriter of the Year” five times. She has also had the pleasure of performing with some of the nation’s most famous artists, including Brad Paisley, Carly Simon, James Taylor, Counting Crows and more.

Opening for The Wendy Woo Band on Aug. 8 is the Little Kids Rock group My Dog Ate Chad. Attendees are invited to get dinner at the local food trucks that will be on site: Bedrock BBQ, The Taco Stop, The Goodness Truck, The Betty and The Human Bean Coffee Truck.
