Everyone has a teacher who made a difference in their lives. Now you’ve got a chance to honor that person.

Nominations for CSU’s 2018 Best Teacher Awards will be closing soon. If you’re a student or alumnus, this is your chance to recognize a teacher who had a positive influence on your life. If you’re a faculty member, this is your opportunity to recognize one of your peers for doing superior work in the classroom.

Nominations close Feb. 21. Nominations are reviewed by a selection committee comprised of students, alumni, faculty and staff.

Up to 6 teachers honored

The committee will select up to six teachers to be honored. Their achievements will be recognized at the annual Best Teacher Awards Banquet on April 19, sponsored by the CSU Alumni Association. Nominators of the winning teachers are invited to attend the banquet.

Registration for the event, set for 5:30 p.m. April 19 at the Iris & Michael Smith Alumni Center, will open mid-March.
