The Border War – the annual gridiron battle between CSU and rival Wyoming – will feature a new competition this year that will provide scholarship assistance to student-athletes at both schools.

The first Border War Blitz will match supporters from both schools in a contest to see which school can get the most donations of $10 or more. The competition begins Monday, Oct. 22, and ends when the Rams and Cowboys kick off their annual Border War game at 8 p.m. Friday at Canvas Stadium.

“The Border War is a long-standing tradition between Colorado State and Wyoming,” said Joe Parker, director of athletics. “The Border War Blitz adds another dimension to our rivalry by asking our respective fan bases to engage in a worthy fundraising effort to support scholarships. We encourage all Rams to step forward to help us meet the challenge and show their commitment to CSU student-athletes by making a donation this week.”

Join the fun, support the Rams

Donations will support athletes in all of CSU’s 16 varsity sports. Online donations are being accepted at csurams.com/blitz.
