Innovation Symposium invites submissions for abstracts

The CSU Collegiate Challenge, a daylong celebration of entrepreneurship to be held on campus April 27, is calling for submissions for the Innovation Symposium.

Student and postdoctoral researchers are invited to submit abstracts by Feb. 29 to participate in the Innovation Symposium poster session. Submissions can be in one of four categories: engineering, creative works, life science or physical science. The top poster in each category will win “Best in Show,” for cash prizes totaling $2,500.

This year, the Innovation Symposium is being held in conjunction with the Business Pitch Competition, which invites student entrepreneurs from a 10-state region to pitch their business ideas and vie for $25,000 in cash and other prizes. The deadline for businesses to apply for the competition is also Feb. 29.

The Innovation Symposium and the Business Pitch Competition make up the CSU Collegiate Challenge, sponsored jointly by CSU Ventures, the technology transfer arm of Colorado State University, and the Institute for Entrepreneurship in the College of Business.
