Thomas Rugland Evans, 21, of Washington state died in a car accident on June 20.  He had just finished his third year at Colorado State University with a construction management major.  He loved the university and the state of Colorado and intended to make it his home after graduation.

Tom was known for his sharp wit and his disarming smile.  He was a proud nerd and could spout bizarre minutia about Dr. Who and Game of Thrones. He was internationally ranked for the game League of Legends, and achieved this rank using his own unique strategy with a character often overlooked.

He loved the outdoors and loved to hike with his friends. He was proud to be a member of the 1515 S. Shields “fraternity.”

Tom was a 2013 graduate of Mount Si high school in Snoqualmie, Washington. He is survived by his parents and an older brother and sister, who all live in Washington.
