In memory: Shirley June Salisbury

SalisburyShirley June Salisbury was born July 20, 1936, in Fort Collins, Colorado, to Edward Ackerman and Flossie Woren. She departed this life December 2, 2015, at the age of 79 years old.

Shirley lived the majority of her life in Fort Collins with her husband Robert Salisbury. She worked for Colorado State University for over 20 years as an administrative specialist for the public relations department.

She moved to Colorado Springs  to be closer to her family, which she loved dearly. Her family was her joy in life, and she will always and forever be loved by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley also was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Shirley was survived by her son-in-law Jeffrey Neubauer, grandchildren; Scott Neubauer and Amanda Patterson, great-grandchildren; Aiden Neubauer and Kaden Patterson, sister; Joan Hoffner, and brother; Dean Ackerman.

Memorial Service was held Friday, December 11, 2015, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 West Olive Street, Fort Collins, Colorado.
