Nicholas A. Scotti, age 20, a lifelong resident of Naperville, IL, passed away April 6. He was born on September 20, 1995, in Belleville, IL. Nicholas A Scotti

Nick is survived by his loving parents, Michael J. and Kelly J. Scotti, III; his brother, Michael J. Scotti, IV and sister, Lauren Elizabeth Scotti; his grandparents, Susan F. Scotti of Arlington, VA, Michael E. Hubert of Pontiac, MI, and Judith A. (James) Van Houten of Lake Placid, FL; his aunts and uncles, Jeffrey (Shanna) Hubert of Glenview, IL, Matthew Hubert of Detroit, MI, and Neil (Julie) Hubert of Naperville, IL, Pamela (Sean) Camblin of Portland, OR, and Jennifer (Michael) Mondshine of Arlington, VA; his cousins, Porter Hubert, Brett and Taylor Hubert, Zoey, Jasmine and Isabel Mondshine, and Ronan and Finn Camblin; his girlfriend, Madeline (Maddie) Fraser, “The Lads,” as well as many friends and his faithful dog, Rommel. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Michael J. Scotti, Jr.

Nick was a graduate of Naperville Central H.S. and was currently attending Colorado State University on an academic scholarship. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 505, Naperville, and was proud to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout in 2013, he earned a varsity letter in swimming at Naperville Central in 2011; held leading rolls in the musicals Meet Me in St. Louis and Beauty and the Beast; and loved photography, travel, music of all kinds and, most of all, hiking and camping with his friends in the great outdoors.

Funeral information

Visitation will be 3 – 8 p.m. Friday, April 15, at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL. The mass of christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Rd., Naperville. Interment will be private.
