Health Fair sessions slated for October, November

Faculty and non-classified CSU employees can sign up for a health screening that includes a lipid glucose blood draw, biometrics and a flu shot, between Oct. 22 and Nov. 16.

The health screen and flu shot are available free of charge for CSU employees enrolled in an Anthem health insurance plan. For non-members, the health screening cost is $37, and the flu shot is $34, payable by cash Visa or MasterCard.

Optional add-on testing for a number of factors, including thyroid hormones blood levels, A1c, and vitamin B-12, are also available for an additional fee regardless of insurance coverage.

Registration is required to assure there are enough doses of the flu shot on hand.

The state of Colorado is also hosting a flu shot clinic for state classified staff. This event will take place 8 a.m. – noon, Oct. 17, and noon – 4 p.m., Oct 18 in the LSC, Room 386. This clinic is free to those enrolled in a state medical plan, the cost for non-members is $35. Registration is not required but it is recommend that you bring your medical ID card.
