A giraffe playing Bach on the pipe organ? Indiana Jones cracking the whip before cranking out the movie theme song? Franz Liszt himself – or, at least, a guy who looks like Liszt – coming back to share his talents?
Well, if you attended CSU’s annual Halloween Organ Extravaganza on Tuesday night you got to see all of that and much more. Liszt, er, Dr. Joel Bacon hosted the 12th annual event in the Organ Recital Hall at the University for the Arts.
Several of Bacon’s pipe organ students were featured playing spooky classics in a unique performance that plays to sellout crowds on an annual basis.
