Presentations by nearly 300 graduate students at the 2019 GradShow included live performances, visual arts, and research posters. Participants competed for 56 scholarship awards while sharpening their ability to communicate their work to audiences outside their field.

Award winners were announced Nov. 12 by the Graduate School and the Office of the Vice President for Research following a day of presentations and professional development focused on communications skills. Melissa Marshall, a communications faculty member at Penn State and consultant perhaps best known for her popular TED Talk, “Talk Nerdy to Me,” who discussed how to engage audiences in your research. A video of her CSU talk is available at gradshow.colostate.edu.
