Get your sesquicentennial on

CSU 150 logoAre you ready to party like it’s 1870? Then head on over to the Lory Student Center Plaza on Tuesday, Oct. 1, as Colorado State University officially kicks off the celebration of its founding 150 years ago.

The celebration will continue all year long, with some really special events in February, around Founder’s Day, but this is the first chance for the campus community to learn about upcoming activities and pick up some once-in-a-century-and-a-half swag created just for CSU’s big year.

Volunteers will be on the Plaza handing out goodies from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 1. If you can’t drop by then, never fear – they’ll be back at the Festival on the Oval at Homecoming, Friday, Oct. 4, from 3 to 6 p.m., or until the free stuff runs out, so come early and stay for the rest of the Festival.
