Get your homecoming parade entries in!

Entries for the 2016 CSU homecoming parade are open, and the campus community is encouraged to participate. CSU entries and those from area elementary, middle and high schools are $100, but the deadline is Friday, Sept. 23. After that, a $150 late fee will be added.

The parade, part of CSU’s annual Homecoming and Family Weekend celebration, is set for 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7. The parade route – Howes Street south from Oak Street to the Oval before winding through campus – is unchanged from recent years.

The parade draws thousands of revelers lining the route to cheer marching bands, floats, dancers and many other types of entries. Homecoming has been celebrated annually at CSU since 1914.

‘Capture Your Moment’

This year’s Homecoming theme is “Capture Your Moment.” Parade participants are encouraged to utilize the theme in their entry.

Campus (and education-related) entries are $100, while non-CSU entries are $225. Entry information and applications are available online.
