Gardeners never have to be in the dark when it comes to getting their questions answered, even after the local nursery, garden center or big-box store has closed for the day. Planttalk Colorado is available with information and helpful videos 24 hours a day.

The multimedia area of the website offers YouTube videos which show even the most novice gardener or homeowner how to plant or prune a tree, reseed a lawn or grow the best tomato. There are currently 50 videos available, each providing a helpful step-by-step process.

Planttalk Colorado, a joint effort of CSU Extension, Denver Botanic Gardens and the Green Industries of Colorado, provides reliable information on more than 600 horticultural topics – from annual and perennials to vegetables and houseplants to insects and diseases. Much of the information comes in the form of research-based fact sheets, which provide gardeners with the basic details plus, in many instances, additional links for related information.
