Football frenzy: Ram fans can watch signing day livestream

Mike Bobo comes to Colorado State UniversityOne of the biggest days on the CSU’s football calendar is now more accessible to fans than ever.

When coach Mike Bobo and his staff are assembling the 2016 recruiting class on Wednesday, CSU will offer 6 hours of livestreaming so fans can follow all the ups and downs of the day. Coverage begins at 7 a.m. MST and continues through 1 p.m.

Through host Brian Roth, viewers will be given an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at National Signing Day, including interviews with Bobo, assistant coaches and other special guests, and breaking updates as recruits sign their letters. The event will take place in Bob Davis Hall in front of an audience of Starting Lineup and Touchdown Club supporters.

Unprecedented coverage

As recruits sign their letters-of-intent to play football for the Rams, Roth will notify viewers as it happens. He will then break down each signee, show a highlight video and talk with other Ram personalities. Those scheduled to be interviewed include coaches, members of the Rams’ support staff and CSU administration, players and more. During breaks, prerecorded features and additional interviews will be shown, including episodes of The Grind and 2015 pre-game highlight videos.

Following the live show, Bobo will meet with the media at 2 p.m. to discuss the signing class in its entirety. Fans can also stream that event, furthering the unparalleled access to one of college football’s premier events.
