Faculty, staff can get discounted tix for volleyball, football

Commitment to Campus logoCSU faculty and staff can get half-price tickets and free food via the Commitment to Campus at two upcoming athletic contests that promise to be epic.

Featured events for this fall include the Oct. 30 volleyball match against Wyoming and the Nov. 17 football game against Utah State. Both contests could help determine the Rams’ postseason fate.

Two exciting contests

The CSU volleyball team, shooting for its 24th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, is in the midst of a challenging Mountain West season. Border War rival Wyoming is one of the teams expected to challenge CSU for the conference title, so the 7 p.m. match at Moby Arena should be a thriller.

The football team is hoping to play in its sixth consecutive bowl game but will face a tough challenge against a talented Utah State team. Kickoff is set for noon at Canvas Stadium.

To purchase tickets, go to www.csurams.com and enter the promo code C2CVB for volleyball or C2CFB for football when prompted. If you have any questions, contact the Rams ticket office at 491-RAMS (7267).

In addition to the discounted tickets, participating faculty and staff will receive a voucher for a free food item (hot dog, nachos or salad) and a soft drink. CSU will also recognize faculty and staff who have gone “above and beyond” this year at each contest.

C2C: A thank you from CSU

Commitment to Campus, a package of discounts and other benefits across, the campus, was launched in 2010 as a way of thanking faculty and staff for their outstanding work.
