Willard was nominated for the Everyday Hero award by Audrey Oberlin. Donna Willard

“Donna is the glue that holds our Foothills MIP office together,” said Oberlin. She added that Willard finds solutions, makes decisions and keeps work flowing, and is hard working, conscientious, and goal-driven. Willard also is completely out of the limelight.

Willard attended CSU and was getting laid off from a previous job when she applied for her current position. She plans to be here till she retires.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing games and spending time with her kids. Her main goal is to get them through school.
In being nominated for this award, she is embarrassed, but glad to be appreciated. She believes everyone in her department is a hero and wants them to know that she is here to help.

Everyday Hero is a special program sponsored by the Classified Personnel Council to recognize the day-to-day achievements of all CSU employees (state classified, administrative professionals, and faculty). To nominate someone, visit the CPC website.
