The nationwide environmental advocacy group has worked closely with CSU in recent years on the issue of methane emissions from the natural gas industry. CSU Energy Institute Director Bryan Willson led the tour.

The guests, also greeted personally by CSU President Tony Frank, heard an overview of energy-related research activities at the Energy Institute. This included a tour of the Advanced Cookstoves Laboratory, and a primer on Factor(E) Ventures, a CSU-based firm that supports energy solution startups in developing nations.
