Colorado State University students volunteered at a workshop on Oct. 31 to help older adults learn how to save and share the photos they take on their smartphones or tablets.

The workshop, which was held at the Fort Collins Senior Center, featured students from CSU’s Department of Human Development and Family Studies and the gerontology interdisciplinary minor. They are part of Associate Professor Christine Fruhauf’s “Perspectives in Gerontology” class and participated to fulfill a service-learning requirement for the course.

The session included one-on-one, hands-on activities to provide participants with practice using their devices.

In addition to CSU and the Senior Center, the event was sponsored by the nonprofit Front Range PC Users Group.
