Chris Fisher, a professor of anthropology at CSU and a renowned expert on the use of LiDAR in archaeology, was featured in the latest edition of the President’s Community Lecture Series. Fisher talked a length about his work in Mesoamerica and how LiDAR has changed the way modern archaeology is being practiced. Host of the 90-minute program at the Lory Student Center Theater was CSU provost Rick Miranda. The President’s Community Lecture Series is CSU’s gift to the community, providing free lectures by some of the university’s top scholars since 2014.
