CSU Collegiate Challenge is April 27

Come experience one of the most enriching student business pitch competitions in the region on Wednesday, April 27. The Colorado State University Collegiate Challenge will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Lory Student Center Ballroom on campus.

Events are free and open to the public

    • Business Pitch Competition: Watch 14 student startups pitch their company to win $20,000
    • Innovation Symposium: Connect with students and post-docs doing research
    • Speaker Panels: Learn from entrepreneurs
      • “Getting Your Business Going”
      • “Funding Your Innovation”
    • Keynote Speaker: Be inspired by Jeremy Ostermiller, CSU alumnus and CEO of Altitude Digital, one of the fastest growing companies in Colorado.

All events are free and open to the public, but registration is requested at the website.

Competitors represent five states

Fourteen competitors in the Collegiate Challenge will pitch their business ideas to win a total prize package of $25,000 in cash awards along with other prizes. The winner of the CSU Collegiate Challenge will have automatic pre-qualification for the online semifinal application for the Capital Championship (formerly the CSU Blue Ocean Enterprises Challenge), the winner of which will compete for a $250,000 grand prize.

The competitors, who represent five states from the Mountain West region, will be pitching their business ideas to a panel of high-profile judges. More information about the competitors can be found here.
