CSU basketball teams looking to extend season

The “Magnificent Seven” will ride again.

Tipoff at Moby Arena is at 7 p.m.

Tickets are on sale at the McGraw Athletic Center ticket office on the west side of Moby Arena, by phone (800-491-7267) or online. Tickets will also be available at the gate.

The Rams (23-11) fell just short in their bid to return to the NCAA Tournament, losing to Nevada 79-71 Saturday in the championship game of the Mountain West Conference Tournament. Instead CSU enters the 32-team NIT as a No. 4 seed.

Charleston (25-9) was the runner-up in the Colonial Athletic Association in both the regular season and league tournament to UNC Wilmington. CSU and Charleston have never before faced each other in basketball.
