Countywide emergency training at Moby, Westfall

The CSU Police Department is hosting a countywide emergency response training on campus May 20-24. During the training, police and other emergency vehicles from multiple agencies will be parked or active around Moby Arena and Westfall Hall. In addition, police will use mock guns, which are blue, and actors will simulate injuries.

The training is 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please do not approach officers during the training to ask questions.

Trainings such as this one provide police agencies in the area with an opportunity to work together in a real-world simulation of how they would respond to active threats, including responses on and off campus. CSUPD, Fort Collins Police Services, and the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office all have agreements that provide support and backup to each other on large scale calls or during times of high call volumes.
