Commitment to Campus: Discounted tickets, free food for football game

C2C image of Commitment to CampusMike Bobo and the CSU football team are inviting the entire campus to watch the Rams take on Fresno State at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the penultimate game at Hughes Stadium.

Thanks to CSU’s Commitment to Campus program, all faculty and staff can purchase half-price game tickets that include a concessions voucher for a hot dog or nachos, plus a soda or bottle of water. The Commitment to Campus program provides numerous special offers to faculty and staff throughout the year, including discounted tickets (and free food) to select athletics events.

Rams on a roll

Bobo, the Rams’ second-year coach, has his team in position to earn a fourth consecutive bowl berth. The Rams bring a 4-4 record into Saturday’s game and need to win two of their remaining four games to be bowl-eligible.

In addition to the football game, fans will be treated to a pregame concert by Turner Jackson starting at noon in the stadium’s east parking lot. And CSU will celebrate “Extra Yard for Teachers” – sponsored by the College Football Playoff – to honor and recognize local educators.

Next-to-last game at Hughes

Finally, CSU will celebrate the decade from 2000-09 during the next-to-last game at Hughes. Music from that era will play throughout the game, and players from that decade will be on hand to join the party.
