Colorado State University Dean of Libraries and Vice President of Information Technology Patrick Burns is starting a new chapter. After 41 years in Fort Collins, Burns has accepted a new half-time position at the CSU Systems office in Denver.

As the System-level chief information officer, he will coordinate and oversee the IT environment across CSU’s three campuses — CSU Global, CSU Pueblo and the main campus in Fort Collins.

To celebrate his success and legacy, the Morgan Library will host an event on Sept. 11 in the third floor Collaboratory from 3 to 5 p.m. This event will be open to the entire campus community.
