April 28 lū’au caps off Asian Pacific Islander and Desi American Heritage Month

APIDA flyerThe Asian Pacific American Cultural Center is capping off Asian Pacific Islander and Desi American Heritage Month with a lū‘au on Saturday, April 28.

The event will incorporate Samoan dance, Chamorro language and legend, and much more. The lūʻau will take place  in the Lory Student Center Grand Ballroom beginning at 5 p.m. It will feature 36 dancers from a local hālau (hula group), a buffet of Hawaiian food and a drawing for exclusive Hawaiian snacks, goods and activities.

The celebration is part of a series of events organized by APACC in April to mark Asian Pacific Islander and Desi American Heritage Month.
