Event info for candidate Bernie Sanders’ visit to Fort Collins

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will visit Fort Collins the evening of Sunday, February 28. Sanders will be at Moby Arena on Colorado State University’s campus. This is not a Colorado State University event.

Event Information: Doors open at 4 p.m. Event attendees are asked to enter the north concourse doors of Moby Arena. Attendees should arrive early to accommodate for delays in traffic and security screening. More information about the event.

Security Information:

  • No overnight camping will be allowed.
  • All attendees will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible.
  • Items not allowed include water bottles and signs or banners on sticks.

Tickets: This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged.

Event Parking: Limited parking is available in the Moby Arena lot (#195), and in other nearby lots including the Library lot (#425) and the Engineering (Lory Student Center) lot (#310). Carpooling is recommended. Parking in residence hall lots, which are reserved for students who live on campus, is strongly discouraged. Transit: Transfort, the city’s bus system, which includes MAX, and Around the Horn, the university’s free shuttle system, do not run on Sunday.
