This message is primarily for our students, but I am including faculty and staff because it’s important for all of us to understand how members of our university community are being impacted by events beyond the classroom.
The CSU Impact Map—or Impacto, in Spanish—provides a glimpse of the System’s global reach while providing a chance for users to explore specific ways CSU System faculty, staff, students, and alumni are working to solve problems, support communities and create impact in far-flung corners of the world.
For Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Beth Wright — an attorney from the Native American Rights Fund — will lead a keynote talk on the Indian Welfare Child Act, a federal law under review with the U.S. Supreme Court that protects the well-being and best interests of Native children and families.
