2019 Engagement Scholarship Consortium call for proposals

Engagement conference poster

The call for proposals for the 2019 Engagement Scholarship Consortium (ESC) Annual Meeting is now open. CSU is an ESC member institution, and this year the Office of Engagement is hosting the conference along with other Western region institutions. The conference will be in downtown Denver Oct. 8-9, with pre-conference workshops Oct. 6-7.

As a land-grant university, CSU has a long history of engaged teaching, research, service, and extension. There are many incredible examples of engaged work that CSU faculty, staff, and students have accomplished. The planning committee is led by CSU’s Office of Engagement and would like to highlight CSU’s amazing work at this conference.

The conference theme is Deepening Our Roots: Advancing Community Engagement in Higher Education, and presentation topics will include Engaging Students, Faculty, and Communities in New and Different Ways; Redesigning Extension and Engagement to Prepare for the Future; Novel Approaches and Solutions to “Old” Problems; and other topics related to the theme of advancing community engagement. Group or individual submissions are welcome.

Please see ESC 2019 Call for Proposals  for more information or contact Ashley Stokes or Yvonne Bridgeman in CSU’s Office of Engagement.
