Pattern of support: Donor’s quilts part of Avenir Museum opening exhibitions
When the Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising opens its doors to the public on Jan. 30, it will not only debut a beautiful new space, but will also unveil a unique collection of 116 miniature quilts designed and sewn by College of Health and Human Sciences alumna Lucile Hawks (M.S. home economics, ’58).
